Sometimes things work out just the way you imagined

You've probably heard the saying, "inspiration is all around us", well this
is definitely true, I get ideas about what I'd like to make and how I'd like the finished product to look all the time.

Problem is sometimes those ideas just don't work out and the finished product just isn't what I imagined at all. There seems to be a lot of those days, and I know to get it right, there are times we have to...try, try, again.

Yippee, today wasn't one of those days for me. I smiled when I look at my new Koala Bear's face and love the way his personality turned out. Maybe he'll make you smile too.

New Pattern, "Anticipation" Sweet Mama Waits

This sweet pattern is definitely called, "Anticipation". Look at her waiting for her egg to hatch.

I know some of you are wondering...what took her so long to make a bird. For those of you who don't know me, I'm a bit of a bird freak. I love them, I know who doesn't these days, but I've loved them for a while now and still can't help picking up every little bird nick knack, do dad and picture I see.

Well, here she is, I hope she's loved.

Getting Ready for Easter

Holidays always seem to sneak up on me. So I thought I'd better work on something for Easter so you can be ready too.

This sweet bunny wreath is perfect for Spring, Easter and Gift Giving.
Pattern includes detailed instructions (English) for creating the bunny, flowers and putting your wreath together along with a materials list and additional hints and tips to put your wreath together. Yarn wrapping instructions are not included, but the process is very simple. Just wrap, wrap and wrap. Secure ends and decorate.

Basic crochet stitches are used in the pattern, i.e., sc, hdc, dc, tr and some crocheting in the round. Skill level = easy

Materials needed include any medium worsted weight yarn (sample used Vanna's choice), eyelash yarn (sample made with Martha Stewart's glitter eyelash, love it by the way), about 24" of 2 types of ribbon (sample used polyester and organdy), safety eyes (can use buttons or beads), glue gun, glue, blush and a tiny bit of white felt.
