Love Those Bears

Can't help it, I'm a bear lover. So I had to have another one. This sweet cub is approx. 16 inches tall from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet. His pattern comes with instructions to make both the flower and the bow. So make him in your favorite colors or match a baby's nursery for a sweet gift.

Favorite Teddy Bear is made with two strands of worsted weight yarn held together throughout. You will need to know basic crochet stitches (i.e., single crochet, double crochet) and how to crochet in the round.

It's Stitches Time! Almost like Christmas for me. Yep, a day with friends, surrounded by beautiful fibers, new patterns and people who love doing what I do, not to mention...a lot of shopping.

What's New in August

Have to be honest...there is nothing new on my knitting needles this week, but there have been a few things on my crochet hooks. I've been at Elgin Knit Works, doing two of my favorite things, talking about knitting and crochet and talking about knitting and crochet with some of my favorite people.

Speaking of favorite people, Joyce Garris designer of After This Row will be at Elgin Knit Works tomorrow. She'll be showing everyone how to get the most from their project sheet and charts.

Going to Print

I'm thrilled to announce of the patterns are going into a printed leaflet soon. I'm sad to announce they will no longer be available here or through my other shops. I'm not exactly sure of the date, they need to be removed, but I'm guessing it will be the end of July early August.

The printed and downloadable leaflet will be available soon though so you will be able to get the patterns again, they just won't be available directly from me. I'll be sure to keep you updated and give you exact dates when I know more.
