New at Bitsy Nest This Week

Here at Bitsy Nest we are always looking for new, detailed miniatures to add to the shop. Use them in your dollhouses, dioramas, shadow boxes, as toppers, for crafts, jewelry makingk gift giving and more. We love to see the pictures our customers share showing us how they used their minis.

We love it when we can put miniatures together, like this adorable magnifying glass and newspaper.

Another cute miniature set is our new Baby Food Set, perfect for baby showers, cakes, nursery scenes and of course a dollhouse with a baby on the way.

One of our best sellers if our miniature mason jars. We get lots of requests for jars so we were thrilled to find these new baby food size jars with removable lids. So darn cute. Perfect for your dollhoue kitchen, but also great for craft projects.

Baskets, miniature baskets, just can't get enough of them. This one is definitely a new favorite. Love this tier Black metal basket, perfect for any room in your dollhouse or great for crafts or toppers. We currently only have a couple in the shop, but more are on the way.

Miniature food is always fun. This new breakfast set couldn't be any cuter with a box of waffles, sausage and orange juice.

If it looks vintage, we love it. This beautiful minature Pennsylvania Dutch stove is so fun with lots of working doors and a top shelf for storage.

Love miniature books. We sure do and we are thrilled to add The Great Gatsby to our collection. This one has text and pretty color illustrations throughout.

Miniature PInecones just in time for the holiday season. Use these as decorations throughout your dollhouse or in craft projects.

When you just love a pattern

Had a great time with my friends (3 of them are the ladies from 3 Ply Podcast) at this year's Wisconsin Sheep & Wool Festival. As usual we touched every beautiful skein of yarn and finished sample we came across, we pulled out our credit cards (maybe a few too many times) and laughed pretty much all day. Happily found things we thought we had lost during the day (keys, sunglasses and cell phone). Got to pet sheep, see babies and spend time with friends. It was a great day to be a knitter, crocheter, spinner, fiber lover.

One of my favorite patterns was found in the new book Minnesota 52 by Cori Eichelberger and Megan Williams. Being the talker I am, I showed it to ever knitter that walked by, after a few minutes Cori asked if I'd mind her video taping, well...I said no. Normally I don't do videos, but I had so much fun I thought I'd share.
