What's New September 4, 2013

Now that our company has gone home and the house is finished, it's time to get back to work.

Besides crocheting, I love to knit and have had a couple knitting patterns in the making for quite a while, but this week I'm determined to make some progress.  Although I have several in the making, I'm pretty sure the first one I'll be introducing will be...a bear of course. So far so good, but still a long way to go. Hopefully some knitted "cuties" will be in the making soon.

What's New This Week

Unfortunately I didn't get much crocheting or knitting in this week. Time for a some house updating so there was lots of hustling and bustling, with paint brushes instead of hooks and needles.

I did manage to get a fun new afghan started. Since I always have a lot of yarn, grabbing the colors from my stash was pretty easy. The pattern for this fun afghan is in the July issue of Knit Simple Magazine. So fun. Can't wait to show you the finished afghan.

New Huggable Baby Pattern Details

Just in case you were wondering what's different about new Huggable Baby.

Huggable Baby will be approx. 19 inches tall when finished with two strands or worsted weight yarn held together and can wear newborn size clothes. There are instructions for a optional stitched bottom/bum and of course there is still that sweet belly button. The instructions are different for sizing, body and head, but similar for hands and feet. So Cute Baby is made with one strand of worsted weight yarn and should be about 15" tall when completed.

Huggable Life Size Baby Progress
