Terri, I have been crocheting since I was a child. One thing that I have never felt comfortable doing is finishing off a row. I'm not confident that I do it right so that it doesn't unravel. What suggestions do you have? Thanks! Kay
I know what you mean, when I work on afghans I'm always worried my ends are going to unravel when I crochet. I weave in my ends (with my tapestry needle), probably way more then I have to so I'm probably not doing it the best way myself. I always leave a long ending tail and weave, weave, weave ad weave. Sorry I didn't have a better suggestion.
Thanks! It makes me feel better to know that what I'm doing works... I do pretty much the same thing. BTW, I'm currently working on your "Bunny Huggy Blanket" ( from Craftsy) and love the combination of amigurumi and afghan. Can't wait to see the finished project!
Where in Maine are you going? I live in Maine, not far from the picture you have posted!
ReplyDeleteHave a fun trip. It is supposed to rain all next week.

ReplyDeleteHi Bonnie,
ReplyDeleteOh no, can you let me know what it is so I can send out a revision if need be and update the blog.
Thanks for your help, really appreciate it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
