I have the pattern doe huggable dolls, but cannot understand if you need to use two weights of yarn or not. Using 2 strands of the 4 weight makes it difficult to do and too tight. Am I reading this wrong? I have had the pattern several months but can't go forward. I love the Cute Babies and have made four and would love to try the larger ones. Thank you
Sorry yes, the larger huggable baby is made with two strands of worsted weight yarn held together. It does make it a bit harder to work with, but creates the tighter fabric you need to stuff the baby. You could use a lighter weight yarn (like DK), but your baby doll won't be newborn size. Please let me know ifyou have any other questions.
