Glenda Bag

This bag was so fun to create with just 2 skeins of Plymouth Yarn "Kudo" and a I (5.5 mm ) crochet hook. The stitch pattern gives it a great texture and shows off this yarn's color pattern perfectly.

Pattern available from Elgin Knit Works. Classes starting soon for those of you in the area.

What's New in August

Have to be honest...there is nothing new on my knitting needles this week, but there have been a few things on my crochet hooks. I've been at Elgin Knit Works, doing two of my favorite things, talking about knitting and crochet and talking about knitting and crochet with some of my favorite people.

Speaking of favorite people, Joyce Garris designer of After This Row will be at Elgin Knit Works tomorrow. She'll be showing everyone how to get the most from their project sheet and charts.

Elgin Knit Works African Flower Bag.

I just finished the sample bag and pattern for the "EKW African Flower Bag".

The African Flower motif is all over Ravelry these days so we just couldn't resist making something with it. A nice size bag seemed like the perfect project. Made with beautiful Pima Cotton, it was a pleasure to crochet. You can see the bag and get the pattern at Elgin Knit Works
