New Loom At My House

I have to thank my kids for introducing me to Craig's List. I was a little hesitant at first, but I quickly sold my old furniture with only a few spam emails. Last week I went to the Midwest Folk and Fiber show and couldn't help noticing (touching and envying) all the beautiful weaving. 

Buying a new one was definitely out of the question since I already have a houseful of yarn, a wheel and table loom (paper, pens, etc). Just for kicks, I decided to check Craig's List for any looms in my area. Well darn, there it was a 40" Norwood Cherry Loom. Thought okay this is to good to be true, made arrangements to see it that day and picked it up that evening. Now, let's see if I can use it. My daughter hasn't been out of the house very long, but her room has definitely been filled. Poor kid and thank goodness for my understanding hubby.
