What's New The Week of September 8th

The weather here has been beautiful and I've been crocheting up a storm. There's a new leaflet in the works and I can't wait to tell you more about it, but for now this is all I can show you. I'll be sure to give you more information as soon as I can.

Most of you know I'm a collector and a crafter of many things. So besides crocheting this week, I've been updating my other Etsy Shops.

If you like Vintage Smalls and Old Treasures, find me at Lovely Little Polka Dot

Looking for craft supplies, find me at Teri Loves (this little shop is brand new so items are still being added. It will be full soon, promise).

If you recently visited my Etsy shop for a pattern, you may have noticed a new look. Still looking for those safety eyes? I'll be adding them to the shop soon so you can stop searching.

Something New, Something Old, Something Free

This week I've been enjoying browsing through my collection of vintage crochet and knitting books and magazines. I also spent quite a bit (probably too much) looking on line and was thrilled to find some new patterns to my collection. There were also a lot of patterns out there on line that are not actually vintage, but are called that. Even came across a few that shouldn't be offered, but that's another story.

What I wanted to share with you is a great website for crocheters that love vintage patterns. Before you buy, be sure to check out: http://freevintagecrochet.com/
It's a wonderful site filled with restored vintage patterns that you can instantly download. The also offer the completely restored leaflets at extremely reasonable prices. All of these patterns are in the public domain and can be shared. During my searches I've come across numerous sellers who offer these patterns for sale, so you definitely want to check before buying. Here are just a few of the patterns they have to share. It can be a little tricky working with vintage patterns, getting gauge isn't always easy, but trying something new for free always makes it a little more fun.

Vintage Finds Have Been Added

At last...some of my Vintage Finds (treasures to me) have finally been added to my Etsy shop.

I'll be adding new items all the time so if you love Vintage, I hope you'll take a minute to stop by.

Just a few items you can find from Teri Crews Designs on Etsy
